1.0  Overview
________________________

This package will update the Integrated Baseboard Management Controller (iBMC) firmware
only.  It will not affect any device drivers.


        1.1     This README file contains the latest information about installing
                the Kirin-Intel 1U iBMC Firmware

        1.2     Limitations

                - none

        1.4.    Level of Recommendations and Prerequisites for the
                update:

                - A full tape backup should be completed and verified
                  prior to running this, or any other system upgrade.

        1.5     Dependencies:

2.0  Installing and Setup Instructions
______________________________________

   1. Copy "CL3100G3xxyyE40B4400" folder to your destination working folder

   2. Log into Web GUI via Web Browser

   3. Select "Firmware Update" of the top menu view, then clik the "Enter Update Mode" button

   4. Click "Browse" button, then select the file "xxyyE40B4400.ima"

   5. Click the "Upload" button. If the file is a valid file, all other sessions will
      be terminated and the image upload will begin. If the upload fails, a message will
      notify you to upload another file

   6. For a successful upload, the current firmware version and the version of the new
      file will be displayed, as well as the Preserve Configuration checkbox, Update
      button and Cancel button

   7. Next, click the "Update" button to begin the firmware update process and view the
      update status. When the update is completed, the embedded software will reboot
      automatically. If you click the "Cancel" button, the process will be terminated and
      the embedded software will reboot
